About the Trainer
After spending 20 years helping families with their dogs face to face as a professional dog trainer, Michele realized that so much of what she knows could be shared with families everywhere - in a way that actually works.
People sometimes think their dog is just SUPER difficult because the advice theyâve gotten was incomplete, confusing or just wrong. So she set out to help.
Michele loves training dogs because of the impact that it has on the families she gets to help. The peace and joy they get from being able to enjoy their dog LISTENING.
Besides teaching classes, helping private clients and running seminars, Michele is also a foodie and fantasizes about being a food critic or secret shopper for restaurants. Talk to her about food and your instant best friends.

Can I get the course before I buy a puppy?
Absolutely! Reviewing the course before you get a puppy will help you understand common mistakes new puppy parents make and how to avoid them.
How fast does it work?
Students can start to see results on the very first day they start training. Students that put in time and effort consistently and follow along with the programâs step-by-step approach will see the quickest results.
Do I have access to the whole course at once?
Yes. Our program is tailored to teach skills in the optimal order and pace for puppies. We recommend following the courses as structured to ensure success. Skipping ahead may cause frustration if your puppy hasn't mastered the foundational skills needed for advanced lessons that come later in the program.
What training methods are used?
All training is done using a positive and gentle approach, you will learn how to let your dog know they did a great job. You wonât be left with pockets full of food either because I will teach you the best way to use them, and to stop using them, and still get your pup to follow commands the first time you ask even when you DONâT have a treat.
Do I need equipment?
In the beginning, you will need a regular 4â or 6â leash that feels comfortable in your hands, low, medium, and high-value training treats, and ideally, something to hold treats like a training pouch.

My dog doesnât have major problems, is it useful?
Your dog doesnât need to have âproblemsâ in order for training to begin. As a matter of fact, owners that started their dogâs training before any problems arise experienced their dog having better listening skills when asking for commands such as sit, down and come. Dogs that start training sooner rather than later have a better handle on their manners too. This means they donât jump on people to say hi, but instead approach people, sit, and wait to be petted.
Is it better to wait until I have my puppy to buy this course?
Many of our students purchase the course before their puppyâs arrival so they can better prepare mentally and within their home and family. You want to make sure youâre being proactive instead of reactive when your puppy arrives. Youâll want to learn all about proper puppy care, how puppies learn, and what you should and shouldnât be doing with them when they first arrive home. Students that have purchased the course ahead of time have told us they felt better prepared for their puppyâs arrival and were more confident in the skills they had learned and could start using right away, even on the first day their puppy came home.
Is my dog too old/young for this to work?

Does this course work for older dogs too, or just puppies?
No dog is too young or too old to start this program. Most puppies start training the day they are brought home. The oldest dog to use our training programs so far was 12 years old.
Itâs always better to face potential problems proactively rather than trying to fix them after theyâve started, but this course is still very effective for families with older dogs too!
Will it help with barking, chewing, and other unwanted behaviors?
This program will help your dog stop or avoid any excessive barking, chewing of your furniture, jumping on you or guests, digging holes in the backyard, pulling on the leash while out on a walk, and more.
Is there an expiration date or time limit for watching the videos?
We offer unlimited access, which means you will always have access to the online course content, including the videos and resources. You can watch and re-watch the videos as many times as you'd like for as long as you'd like!
How is the course delivered?
You get immediate access to the portal that contains all 10 main courses and 8 bonus courses. While you may be tempted to skip around, we highly recommend you go in the order the videos are listed in the courses for the best results.
How long will I have to practice with my dog every day?
When you practice with your dog, training sessions should be short and sweet, like 5-15 minutes throughout your time at home. All of the training games youâll learn inside this program can be played anytime throughout the day and during the current daily routines you have with your dog such as meal times, when going out the door for walks, and when sitting watching tv or eating dinner.
